Travel Insurance
What's the deal with travel insurance?
Often recognised as the “boring” part of organising your travels, insurance is a necessity for stress-free travelling.
When we book our customers on any trips, be it for a 3-month tour around Australia, or a weekend break to Fraser Island, we will always offer them the option of a cancellation insurance policy which will cover them should any of the tours that they book be cancelled. The decision as to whether to take this insurance is entirely up to customer. We do however recommend that they check any existing insurance policy that they have to see if it covers cancellations.
Should our customers choose to take out the cancellation insurance policy, we can sell it to them with their tours. We are able to provide 2 different levels.
These are:
- $50 insurance policy that covers for up to $1000 of cancellations
- $60 insurance policy that covers for up to $2000 of cancellations
The insurance policies are provided by QBE Insurance, and should a customer purchase the insurance and need to make a claim, then they would deal directly with the insurance company from there on in.
The reason that we offer this travel cancellation insurance is to give our customers the option of covering themselves should the unexpected happen. We are unable to recommend travel insurance; we simply make customers aware and allow them to make their own decision.
